Gas lid latch thing fell off??
So this happened other day. I've had problems latching my fuel door when pushing in. Well I pushed it other day and the thing report lol. I tried glueing it but no work. So now my fuel doors open and it kinda bothers me lol. What can I do to fix this?? Here's the price that fell off the other.

I know I have seen prepainted colormatched fuel doors somewhere OP, just do some googlin/ebayin. Hell, if they sell colormatched bumpers, a fuel door can't be THAT much to ask.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that the latch on the fuel door actuator (the part that pulls back when you push the button under the dash) and not a part of the fuel door itself? If it is, you need a new actuator not a new fuel door. It would help to have a pic of the fuel door and latch area.

I'd just get a new fuel door.I've seen e'm on E-Bay.
You may find one in your car's color.I've got one available--Silverstone.
Replaced mine with a brushed aluminum unit(Cobra).PM me if you have interest.

It's not the fuel door! Man, you guys need to listen to what he's saying and look at the part in the pic not the shifter!
An auto parts store will not carry that actuator. The latch on my actuator is broken off too. I have not replaced it yet though because the guy that I bought the car from had set my fuel door up with a little magnet to hold it closed. I just use my fingernail to pop the door open to gas up. I will likely fix it at some point but haven't gotten there yet. Anyway, you can get a used actuator from one of the guys parting out their cars here on the market place or from slidegood http://www.slidegood.com/nissan/350z...-lock-actuator
Here's a link to a place that has new ones: http://www.nissanpartsdiscounts.com/...or/78850-cd06a
I've heard that they are a PIA to get at to replace but it is doable.

If I get a chance I will try to get a pic this weekend. Not sure if I will though. He basically just pull the little rubber bumpers off the fuel door and epoxied a magnet to the tab closest to that latch that broke. The rubber bumper was hitting a metal tab near the gas cap. That tab is what the magnet sticks to. It's pretty self explanatory if you look at it. Just grab a small strong magnet at a hardware store. You may need to put a washer or something in to shim it to the right height but that's easy enough to do too.
