Default Transmission Help Please

Just what is the "clevis pin" that Nissan has been replacing with regard to transmission issues? My vehicle's in the shop today getting a new tranny. The service dude left a message saying that they would need to keep the car longer to replace a clevis pin and the clutch pedal assembly. Until today I thought that this pin was inside the tranny but if they are replacing it and the tranny it must be somewhere else. Thanks.

Just spoke to the Dealer. The infamous clevis pin is actually part of the clutch pedal assembly.
