Rough Idle and Service Engine Light
Hey Guys,
I've had the car since 04 and never really had any issues. Today I get in my car and start it up. It had a rough idle and the car sounded more like a mustang than normal.
As I continued to drive it the sound was like it was sorta skipping and I could feel the car slightly shake while in gear. Then a mile down the road my "service engine soon" light came on. I shut the car off and then started driving again and it was fine. Shortly after the same story...
Does this sound like an O2 sensor...Or is it time for a full tune up? My car has 86 thousand miles but like I said I've never had real issues.
Thanks,

Thanks,
did you run a code reader to see what the service lights was? A lot of things can cause this. Find out what code your service light threw first.

Thanks guys...
I tried to stop into a auto zone and pep boys to see if they would give me that. Apparently they stopped doing that a little while ago. I'll see if I can get it scanned somewhere else and let you guys know. Hopefully it doesn't cost a **** ton.
