Taillights went out
Does anyone know where the fuse to the taillights is at? When I turn my lights on my lights at night my taillights don't go on but when I step on the break the stop lights do work. Sorry if I sound like a noob but I've been riding dirty for a while now and I don't want anyone to run into me at night because of a simple fuse. Thxs in advance

Adrian, there is a 10 amp fuse for the tail lights located in the most inconvenient fuse box ever designed for any automobile in the history of the world. Remove the battery cover, and then remove the two plastic panels surrounding the battery. These panels are held down by plastic speed rivets. Using a small screwdriver or other blade pry the center part up an 1/8th” then lift the whole rivet out. Behind and to the side of the battery is a fuse box, pull the cover off and you will see the fuse marked tail light near the top.
Be aware that power for the taillights is also routed through a relay in the so-called “Intelligent power delivery module”. This relay (not sold separately from the module) has been the problem in other member’s cars. (I learned all this simply by religiously reading this forum).

Tucker, the owner’s manual is a bit deficient here, as it only details the small fuse box on the driver’s side kick-panel and the visible one in front of the battery. It omits to mention the hidden fuse box behind the battery. The factory service manual is a better resource, but not every owner has that.
