I've had some idle issues for a few months now, and very recently I've noticed acceleration lag, some power loss and a bit of light jerking when coming to a stop (at any speed) or accelerating from a complete stop. I have a brief history of what I think is related:
- Had power loss and high idle (1500 rpm) from cold start, loss of mpg. Took a shop, they cleaned out my very dirty throttle body. Mechanic told me if it flashes a CEL, it's my Throttle Body, they could not get the Idle Relearn to engage.
-Car drive awesome for day, flashed P Idle air control. High rpm
Po507
-Reset ECU myself, Relearned IDLE, car back to normal outside High IDLE. No more CEL
-Fine for about a month except the IDLE, until yesterday loss of power, acceleration lag...etc
All I've researched and read, I can only guess Spark Plugs, MAF Sensor or Throttle Body? Am I way off here?

I would look into your mass air flow sensor, crank shaft and cam shaft sensors…you're ECU is getting bad information.
I would get a can of mass air flow cleaner and clean your MAF first - easiest, cheap and since you're throwing air control code it would be the best place to start. If cleaning doesnt fix it have it checked to ensure it's functioning.

Thanks for the response, I'm going to have someone take a look at it on Saturday morning. Also, could it be the Throttle Body all along or possibly the ECU itself causing the issue?

^I am not sure…I would think if the throttle body and/or the ECU was disfunctional you'd get many other codes.
keep us posted on the problem and the solution -
