My car is a 2 owner clean carfax just bought it Friday and now every now and then when I shift into 6th and hit the gas it acts like it wants to come out of gear. My guess is the synchro but I could be wrong. Everything besides that drives amazing and couldn't ask for a better car. Anyone have an answer to this?

 

Sounds like synchro to me. Seems like the previous owner must of had that issue and maybe that's why it was sold.

How many miles are on it?

 

Welcome to the forum. I'm in agreement with you and Oldschool, the synchro between 5th and 6th is notoriously weak and a well known problem.
