More than once. In fact my sensor is on right now. It came on when we had a temperature drop a few days back.

Tire(s) are fine, as usual. I just have them reset the next time I'm in having an oil change. If you have a good relationship with your dealor they will usually do it for free (mine does).

Wife drives an 2012 Versa and hers has already went out twice..I had to explain to her about our beautiful Nissan sensors..I'm wondering if the window motor manufacturer is related to the TPS manufacturer?
Just sayin....I'm not mad about it or anything...

If you see the dashboard ICON displaying low tire pressure, you should pay attention. My experience with Nissan’s tire pressure monitors is very positive (it’s accurate).

Gosh, Lion, didn't you get an owner's manual with your car? If not, there's several places online where you can download one. There's a LOT of useful info there.

OP you need to learn how to search for your own answers. It's a valuable life skill.

This is common to any vehicle that has wheels.. if temperature drops, so does tire pressure

How old is your car? Have you ever had sensors changed since you owned the car. The tpms sensors last about 5-6 years and when they go bad you will have to fill up your tires with more air every week. Get your tpms sensors changed.

Thanks for posting good information about the sensors' life cycle.

I have a 2003 Performance model that came with TPMS. I believe the earlier models were superior (performance and features… for example mine reports all four tires individually).

I have not changed the sensors and just had the right front tire repaired because I picked up a nail causing a slow leak.
