Default Quarter Panel

So my350z need's a new Passenger side Quarter Panel, but i can't seem to find any wrecked Z i can pull one off of near my area, here in Quebec,Canada.

I bought my Z, but i knew it was crashed, i saw the pic's did the car fax all he did was avoid a bigger accident, and his *** slide into the ditch, lost half his value. not that big of a deal to me, car is still "brand new" but the guy's who fixed it did a **** job...

Instead of replacing it they just kinda of did a **** job on body work.

Long story short. I personally thought the car either had camber or wasnt alligned properly, but it's 100% fine.

Drive side wheel is flush with quarter panel, like i planned it to be.

Passenger side Quarter Panel is not Flush with wheel missing bout an Inch, goes to show not all body work guys are good.

Unfortunatly i wasnt the one that got it repaired so i can't go after them

Just need to know...

Where is the best place to get a rear passenger quarter panel, or if anyone has one that would be great...

PM ME

if you need pics lemme know

You should buy a new one. Putting a used quarter on is a pain in the ***. I don't know if you know what you're doing or not, if not pay some one. There's a lot of work involved in replacing one. Separating the old panel from adjacent panels without f'ing them up, alignment, welding, body work, paint and so on. Not the task for an amateur.

Here's what the part looks like new ($451 from Courtesy Parts, btw).

I doubt there's any way you can splice that in without losing the alignment of the adjoining body panels and parts.

you can splice them in easily... I worked at a restoration shop a few years ago. When we needed to replace quarters on a rare car where we could not get new sheet metal and used was scarce- once we located the part, it usually was never the complete quarter panel. just a cut out off another dying car. so we wouldn't get all the seams. this meant we would leave the original door jamb, and trunk jamb, and graft the "new" panel onto the existing seams. less welding, better fit, kept the original structural integrity too.

keep in mind it's in storage so it jacked up on stands, and it won't look all screwed up like its suppose to be, the measuring tape indicated where the panel is no equal.

Don't mind the trunk, that's crooked too have to adjust everything in the spring.
