Default oil pressure problem or power steering problem??

i just replaced my valve covers and hoses. refilled the power steering bleed the system and the oil is a little low but not enough to cause a dramatic change in the oil pressure.
my oil pressure guage readds and maybe 40 psi on start up and drops to 10 psi at idl. even under load from the throttle. hoewever when i turn my steering wheel my oil pressure gauge sky rockets and its at full oil psi when the steering is locked to the left or to the right. not sure if this iis an oil problem or power steering problem or both or where to start there are currently no engine code

Default

is it possible to switch the power steering and oil pressure sensors connectors because i dont see how the power steering would be connected to the engine oil pressure or guage ?
