2006 350z overheating - Thermostat replacement?
Hey guys, so my Z was running perfectly fine yesterday, and today it started randomly over heating. It gets really hot, really fast. Also, my heater does not blow hot air anymore.
My neighbor looked at it, and he says he's 99.9% sure it's not the head gasket (thank god) and he believes it's the thermostat.
Now I'm not really mechanically inclined, but I can figure out stuff at the same time - I've been searching for a DIY on how to replace the thermostat for 350z's but I really cannot find any good ones. Can somebody help me out here? I don't really know how to replace it.
Thanks guys!

EDIT: So I figured out how to get the new thermostat in, car is still overheating. I think there may be an air bubble, so I bled all the air out. I'm letting it sit for a while now. In about a hour, I'm going to try to see if the car works.
All the coolant is flowing correctly, it flows everywhere except it does not go to the bottom radiator hose, that's connected to the thermostat. So that's why I believe it's an air bubble, since I just replaced the thermostat.
If it is not the thermostat or an air bubble, what do you guys think it could be?
Thanks!

First try adding more coolant and bleeding the air out of it. Search for DIY on that, should be readily available.
If after a few attempts, that does not resolve the issue, then look into the Thermostat. Click search at the top, then advanced search and search title only and you should be good to go.

It's an air bubble. Bleed the system thoroughly. Vq's aren't your common gm indestructible engine where you can just run the water hose straight into the radiator and fill 'er up. Last time I did a coolant flush it took me 2-3 tries to get the air completely out
