Default Clutch Master Cylinder HELP

I have searched and have not found anyone with the same issue so I apologize if this has been addressed before. Anyway, I just replaced my clutch master cylinder because my clutch pedal was not going all the way back up. After replacing the clutch master cylinder, I pressed the clutch when trying to bleed it and it did not go back up. I have tried pumping the clutch multiple times and still no luck. Can someone tell me what I did wrong or how I could fix this? Thank you.

I'm having the same issue, from what i've researched. its either, air in the lines, slave cylinder, master cylinder, or clutch line. just manually pull it back up and bleed the hell out of it, and if you didnt bench bleed the master its gonna take a longggg time!

it will take a bit to build up pressure....you will need 2 people to bleed it properly

^^Agreed- if you don't prefill and bench bleed a new master cylinder, it will take a long time to bleed all the air out of the system. I use a large vacuum bleeder and this can help, but only if you want to make the investment. In any case, if you have a leak anywhere in the system, you'll usually see a pool of brake fluid forming under and around the bellhousing.
