Default Cooling fans not working (Help please)

My engine overheated in city driving today. Fans will not operate when temp guage climbs above normal. Turned on the heater fan in cabin @ high output & was able to keep it out of danger zone. A/C works just fine & all the inside controls are spot on. I have a 2005Z Enthusiast convertible automatic. Can anyone give me help on location of fuses, temp sensors, relays, or other causes for this problem. Also, can I jump the fans with 12 volts direct, & what color wire do I stick @ the fan motor @ the radiator. Thanks in Advance. The outside air here in Florida today was 88 so it showed up real quick !!!!:

So..... Neither fan is working?

Not sure but I think once the car is warm and u turn on a/c BOTH fans should be running. You can just do a visual check.

Mine was fan motor. Easy fix.... I got one off Amazon

You can find service manual free online for fuse and sensor locations.

Found the fans were toasted & ordered them on Ebay. Just waiting for the parts to arrive & install, bring to temp, & wait to hear them turn on.
( I HOPE ). Thanks for the advice.

I went on Ebay & bought TYC aftermarket motors for $40 each that fit perfect & solved my problem 100%. Free shipping,a year warranty, & wiring was a direct plug in. Company name is Pro Parts from Duluth, Georgia. A/C turns on one fan motor when activated & they both energize when engine comes above normal, as they should. BTW, Nissan would not do anything for me because they said the RECALL was over in beginning of 2013. How convenient for them. My car is under the mileage limit, so they timed it out of warranty. TYC part # is 631210 for the fan motor.
Good luck with your repair.
