Question Window Issues

There are a tonne of threads on the various issues people have had with windows but I haven't found a resolution that helps me with my problem.

I think I know what the problem is (the 1/4 auto-drop doesn't work) this is in turn making the auto-up function to fail as the window motor thinks it's hitting something (I guess the motor doesn't know how high it needs to go) I tested this by jamming a towel into the window and it reacts in almost exactly the same way - dropping 5 or so inches from the blockage.

I've got the door card off and have tried the reset procedure from Nissan. That hasn't fixed it - I've also checked the door switch which doesn't seem to be loose.

The window reset procedure states at the end that the window should drop the 1/4" once complete but mine doesn't. Any ideas?

I'm now at a bit of a loss as to how to resolve the issue? It's not the end of the world but it is very frustrating. I'll continue looking online but has anyone else fixed this.

Rob

Hi,

Yeah tried the Nissan recommended reset by taking the door card off and holding the motor reset button but it hasn't worked on mine. I'm not sure if there's a way to see if the reset button works?
