Unhappy Please HELP! p0550 code and car going on limp mode?

Update:
Car doesn't go on limp mode anymore, but code P0300 appeared as I tried another scanner, it stutters some times, and while accelerating it takes a second to react, the SES flashes, then it just stays on, light goes away for a couple days and then comes back. I noticed a strong fuel smell coming from the exhaust tips while cold started, already reset the MAF, and did the coil-pack test, all good, NGK Iridiums have 3600 miles on them (they were gapped to 43 thousands of an inch) I don't know what else to do other than this weekend try to take a look at the cats.

It's been a week since I noticed my Z not responding properly and the car starting to shake and the voltage dropping in the volt gauge, but today it was the worst I've ever felt. The car would not go past 2500 rpm, and the CEL did not turn on, SLIP and VDC OFF light are always on. I took it to a parts store and got the code p0550 which is the Power Steering pressure sensor, the kid at the counter read the code and it lead to the Camshaft positioning sensor needs to be replaced. My friend who used to own the car had to replace the accelerator pedal sensor, and the throttle body due to similar symptoms, I turned off the car and started it again and the issues disappeared, at moments when I accelerate I feel like the car stutters and it goes back to normal, after I got home left it idling for a while and saw the same rough idle rpm's dropping and voltage, then it goes back to normal, it's frustrating! if anyone has had this issue or dealt with this problem before all the help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
The car is a 2003 Track with approximately 50K miles

^^ The symptoms you describe sound more like a problem with the Camshaft Position Sensor than the Power Steering Pressure Sensor. There is a diagnostic sequence procedure that you can run to discover the faulty sensor.

If you're getting the code P0550 and upon clearing it, it comes right back I would replace the power steering pressure sensor. It's like a potentiometer and does effect engine rpms. If it's shorting out it could cause other issues also as it connects straight to ECU.

(different car I know but the DTC is the same.)

If you have a code for the ps sensor then it's likely you need a new ps sensor. The ps sensor senses pressure in the system and and adjusts the rpms to compensate for the extra load of turning the wheels.
As a quick test see if you can get a steady idle, then turn the wheels....the rpms should drop. A bad cam sensor would cause a cam sensor code.
