Are you sure there's no air?

This is a very common problem and is covered in a few threads. I cannot find them right now though
search clutch pedal to floor
clutch pedal won't return
etc.

Do you have a pressure bleeder to use? When I replaced the rubber hose by the exhaust manifold is the first time I had this issue. Just simple gravity bleeding never caused it. But probably had air or previously boiled fluid in there from touching it since it left the factory.

One thing I remember is that if you do the old pump and hold and open/close method and you already have this problem it will take forever to get the pedal back up. It will take you dozens of times and will gain very little pedal back each time. Keep trying that until you get more help from an expert. I ended up finally being very successful with a combination of my pressure bleeder and using old "two person" method in combination to get anything I was happy with. Count on it being a big pain and get the swear jar out because it may come back a little after you drive it. Maybe this thread will bring up some more "secrets" from other people.

Good luck

Document exactly what you try if you expect to get any good advice too as this one can get tricky

Don't mean to hijack this thread but i seem to be having a similar issue. Done all the searching in the world and read many threads about the pedal issue but going to be reaching a dead end soon. My car now has 90k on it. I just recently did my clutch and slave.. gona say about month or so ago as I was having pedal problems like this. We bleed the system at that time and seems all well for about a month. Well just few days ago I lost all clutch pedal absolutely no tension. So I said hey maybe its the master.. so I put a new oem master in and a bleed again. Well few days later it seems to be getting spungy and sticking again but not a total loss. I have a SS clutch line from my clutch kit I completely forgot to install but who knows if that will fix the issue. I'm going to put the line on this weekend and do a bleed with a machine i think but if it comes back dunno what else to do besides maybe replacing all lines anyone have suggestions?
