performance mods are pop charger, borla exhaust, kinetix hfc, now i just recently installed my mrev2 + 5/16 spacer ( removed strut bar for now since it was rubbing )

last week i noticed that when am going 55+ mph doesnt matter in what gear am in i start to get a weird noise from what am assuming sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine. it sorta has a * clanking* sound. like back in the days kids use to put cards from a deck onto the tires of their bikes. the noise gets louder and more repetitive the higher i go beyond 55.

besides the noise i think the steering wheel shakes a bit more once i start to hear the noise. everything else on the car seems fine.

 

Have you pulled the LS front wheel to take a good look at what's going on? A "clanking" noise usually entails a reciprocating part rubbing on another (brake pad, warped rotor, wheel bearing, etc.) and showing some sign of wear. Be sure to support the Z with jack stands before you crawl underneath and let us know what you find.

 

i havnt even inspectec the z. i have this monday through wednesday off so ill be checking it out. ill report to you guys whatever i find. hopefully its nothing serious

 

finally been able to check the car. seems to be the top of the wheel well plastic is making contact with my tires at high speeds. not able to 100% prove it besides the fact the pastic is getting eaten up.
