I just got back from getting my Z tested and I failed
The reason was: Catalytic Converter Eff. "Not Supported" I have Berk High Flow cats on my Z and also I have UPREV Osiris on my ECM. I thought I had all the same stuff last time I got tested and I passed fine (Maybe I didnt have the cats and UPREV, I cant remember) Anyway, does anyone have any ideas how to pass? What if I take the UPREV off, get tested and then put it back on, will that work? Any help would be great. Thank

I'd be willing to bet the tune in the smog range is a bit fat. If you have a cruise control car it might be a good idea to get a second base map put on for smog. Also high flow cats are notorious for throwing that code. IIRC it will not pass with a single CEL/monitor not lighting up. I'm almost sure that one CEL will take you under the 80% requirement to pass.

If it showed up as "not supported" then whoever did your Osiris tune disabled the codes in the tune. You have to have them all enabled (P0420 and P0430 I'm guessing) in order to pass the OBD2 scan
Not supported no longer works in IL, if you have a Not Supported anywhere in your ECU you won't pass.. Time to upgrade ECU To Drop in. I have the same issue With my Haltech/Uprev you have to turn the CATS on and clear it, then drive around until you have readiness then go right to testing. ITs PITA

Some sniffer tests can be outwitted by adding a small amount of E85 or straight ethanol to the fuel tank. There are many threads about this on other forums. Maybe that could help.
Sounds like the monitor isn't lighting up (or showing "incomplete" or "Not ready"). Make sure your tuner didn't turn off any of the CEL codes. There are quite a few codes the tuners sometimes disable with Uprev. If they disable any of them the monitors will not fire off the "Ok" code. In most of the states I've heard of, one missed monitor is a fail.
bumping an oldie, sorry...
I just passed yesterday with an intake, headers, and catback. I know previously the 02 sensor was replaced.
I've been considering UPREV tuning, but similar to the VW/ Audi tunes, you will need to have readiness still on and most likely run a spacer. Is anyone doing this in IL currently or can recommend a good spacer that should do the trick if I am able to have Uprev NOT turn off the 02 sensor function/readiness?
Thanks for any input.

I did (on the 2nd trip) get my car to pass. I emailed uprev and gave them all the info that I had and they tweeked my tune so the car would pass. I they left my tune the same as it was and added turn on one sensor. I do have a spacer on my Z but I dont remember what kind it was. Its all good now.
