Question thermostat replacement, advice, questions. help?

Hey guys my z slightly overheats every so often. Never reaches "H" but it goes slightly above the half way mark. I was reading a thread on how to replace and what to do, but I lost it and can't find it. But I read that if I had air in my cooling system it would still over heat. Could I flush out my radiator, replace the thermostat and then just add new fluid? Any ideas, comments, concerns? Please and thank you!

i would do a coolant flush along with replacing the cap first... see if that solves your issue, then if not do the thermostat

The cap was replaced, and the radiator has been replaced about a month ago. Buy a new cap still? And I read something about"purging"or burping?

So I should flush it, to see if it helps? Anything in specific I need to flush the system?
