A/C Problem. 2 possibilities
So i'm have an A/C problem. My A/C blows warm air no matter what settings i have it on and the clutch does not spin normally. But when I put it into the diagnostic mode (fan switch to off, and after you start the car hold the A/C for 5 seconds) and cycle through to the 13th click on the fan control the compressor kicks in and it blows cold air slowly.
So i know my compressor works and my system is charged.
The first step of putting it into the diagnostic mode says all the lights on your A/C panel should come on (defroster, recirculate, A/C ect) all the lights besides the defroster light come on. that points me towards the A/C controller or the unified meter and A/C amp.
Has anyone had this problem or know of the two which is usually more likely to be the solution before i flip a coin on which to try first?
