Default 350z 2007 Trunk won't open

About two days ago I went to my car to open my trunk and couldn't get it open.

I tried hitting the button in the rear and pulling up on it and I even pulled the emergency switch that's in the back.

When you are pushing the release button on the hatch, can you hear any clicking? If so, the striker is being released and the hatch springs should help to pop it up. If not, you'll probably need a tech to help get it sorted out.

There is no sound at all. It's all silent and sadly I don't want to take it to a nissan dealer. There going to charge $99 bucks just for the diagnostic -_-

Did you check your fuses? If they are not blown, get a multi meter and see if you are getting power to the latch.

What's the most easiest way to get to it? By taking the back bumper off??

Unfortunately, the rear bumper can't be removed without raising the hatch. I admit to being ignorant of any "easy way" to trigger the hatch latch. But a factory tech is going to have the best chance of fixing this without tearing anything up.

Default Update

I got the hatch open from the emergency switch. I tried pulling it again today and it worked! I think the motor is dead or the fuse is messed up. I'm going to check the fuse tomorrow before I end up wasting a hundred bucks on a motor
