Started to getting this message from time to time.
Also MPG gauge acted weird was showing 1-2 miles per gallon, reset it, seems like works fine now but "ICY" still shows up.

You're gauges are blue. That's your problem right there.

I doubt if I will change it back to orange, it will attract more sun.
Was driving with blue gauges for over 3 years, never had any problems.

Ahahahaha just giving you a hard time. the only thing I can think of is that when in there changing over to blue LED's you somehow got a wire shorted causing the fault.

Does any temp show up or is it just blank? If it's blank, something is wrong with the thermostat. Either fuses, a short somewhere or an issue with the actual sensor.

This was today.
Usually every day it shows up and then becoming just ICY with no temperature. Also A/C acts weird, probably because of that.

Ordered new ambient sensor, let's see if that will help.

Yeah it's the outside temp sensor. If it's failing and thinks its very cold the ICY warning will pop up. Clearly not the case in our lovely 90 degree summer weather.

I thought my car was telling me I'm icy like those hippity hop singers are.

I thought it was weird it waited till it was 36 degrees outside to remind me....

You think it's stupid to know what the temp is outside? Almost every car has that now. It's not just Nissan.

My 2001 SeaDoo tells me what the temp is....

I think it's stupid to have the icy light warning. It's pointless. Who really drives their z in winter anyway?

Oh. Yeah it's kinda obvious when it gets cold there is a chance for ice.

And I do. I drive the Z year round. As long as we don't get more than about 1" of snow I can manage. If it gets deeper than that I just don't leave the house or I swap sprockets on the quad and run from the cops if they try to start anything.

I drive my 350Z all year round and I'm grateful for the warning as it lets me know that there could be black ice on the roads and as a result i drive with a little more caution. I'm obviously not going to drive the car when there's 3" of snow outside, but when there's been a frost, I'm really happy to have this feature.

Anyway, back to the issue. Tried to remove my ambient sensor and it fall off with 2 wires still connected to it. Cleaned everything, connected together, installed new sensor, connected the battery and everything started working again
