Default map lights inoperative

My interior map lights(dome) do not work(not a blown fuse, the bulbs were replaced, and the map light cluster wire is correctly connected). Also, my brake light's no longer work(they were just replaced as well), my service engine light is on, and on the spyder headlights I put on the car two years ago that worked for the longest time, now flicker the running lights in the front of my car whenever I brake. I'm thinking there may be a short somewhere in the electrical system in my car but I may be wrong. At this point in time, is this a problem that anyone else has heard of?

it sounds like fried wiring system bro, fuses being ok, lights being okay, and battery working fine there are only 2 chances, bad groung or fried wiring but both of them has to be done by a technician, maybe heavy rain caused this?

It was a short from the rear tail lights. The auto parts shop gave me a two way bulb to replace my tail lights with and I had asked for a one way. I checked it and found it fried the sockets in my tail lights which I replaced, and then I never went to that auto shop again My electrical system is doing great now.
