Default Tell me it looks worse than what it is...Scraped Y joint

My driveway is on a slope and on most days I find myself scraping as I back out. The flex section is all scraped up but it hasn't from what I see damaged what was beneath the section. There is still no trace of any leak as well. My question is, am I still okay with the y joint. I've been told by another Z driver that this scrape is really common.

You should be fine as long as you don't make it worse.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts leaking.

I have to creep into my driveway so my front springs wont compress. If I go more than 5mph the front bumper drags

I'm afraid if I get the Nismo V2 bumper the lip on it will be too low and I wont be able to get in my driveway.

My Y pipe has some damage from me off roading and from hitting a possum going 85mph but it still works fine.

My cats also have some flat spotting going on.

sheesh! lol. Esp. about hitting the possum, I can't imagine having to clean the underside with all the debris and guts stuck underneath. Glad everything still works fine for you man. I have a nismo front lip that sometimes scrape on the bottom. I'm due for a new bumper anyhow; I really want the v3.

Funny thing is the possum just kinda rolled under the car and didn't splatter. Just hair stuck in the W brace and the flex pipe.

I had a house cat jump out of the weeds on the side of the road in front of me when I was going 35-40 and it busted both my fog lights.

thats just terrible luck! lol. How did both the fogs go out? I'm assuming it took out one good enough to damage the wiring to take out the other side as well? And G'luck to you in future travels lol I try to avoid those types of things and potholes to save my underside and tires lol

They are behind the grille and when I hit the cat it broke the lens out of both housings.

I forgot to snap some pics of my Y pipe when I pulled it off Friday. I'll get some tonight when I get home from work for you.

My y-pipe and cats look just like that coming out of my garage. Next house I own will not have a 9° grade on the driveway.
