Bad throw out bearing 04 350z
My throw out bearing is obviously bad. Clutch engaged no noise. Clutch out noise. My question is how serious is this and how long can I drive the car before something serious happens if anything? IVe owned a Subaru for a while and this is my first Nissan so I'm new. Any help is greatly appreciated
Answering your questions:
1. A bad/worn Throw-Out-Bearing doesn’t mean other clutch components need repair/replacement.
2. You can go for awhile (depending upon how much and how hard you drive your car) on a worn TOB. Total failure won’t happen suddenly. The problem when driving on failing components is we tend to become more brazen as we continue to operate long after we need to do the repair.
I certainly would not continue operating a car with a worn/faulty TOB.

By "clutch out" do you mean the clutch pedal out (not pressed down)? Or "clutch out" as in you have the clutch pedal in, with the clutch disc out and disengaged?
In all these years the actual verifiable cases of a bad throwout bearing are few and far between. Most "issues" stem from the transmission chatter itself, which is a characteristic of all the CD00X transmissions for the 350z, and made worse when you install a single mass flywheel.
