Hey everyone,

So I was working on somethings under the hood off my car today and after I shut it, it would not open anymore.

I pull on the handle inside and it feels like it has no tension like it normally should.

Luckily I took off my front bumper while working under the hood so I have full access to everything. I was tugging on the wire and it felt really really lose. I'm not sure if it is broken or unattached. I pulled on the wire but it did nothing so I am in a bit of a pickle.

Also since I can't open my hood I can't put my bumper back on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hopefully you found what was 'causing the problem. but i had the same problem a while back... found out that the hood latch cable was being pinched by the radiator support. effin shop didn't give a crap.
