The passanger window will not go up or down. The switch makes clicking noises when I switch the switch to make it go down.... Would you guys know what the problem is? Is it the motor or something with the switch? Or something more in depth.

Do you have the window lock on?

Does it auto index when you open and close the door?

Does either switch work?

 

i did this.... was stumped by it..... took it to Nissan and they laughed at me..... but they say it happens all the time and that it is one of the few cars where the lock disables the drivers side controls

 

I was being an ******* to one chick I was with and was playing freeze out. When I finally decided to roll the windows up I started to freak out in my head (had to try to look cool) thinking my window motor went out with the window down and I was phucked.

Then turned off the window lock and it went up and was very relieved.

 

Yeah the lock is off. And sometimes the auto index works, but only sometimes.

 

Your window motor is going out. You'll need to replace it, so do a search on the DIY section (search) or take it to a qualified tech for repair. There's a TON of threads on this topic...
