Default Horn and radio controls dont work, but cruise controls do?

Hi there!
Im new to these machines so please bare with my rookie knowledge. Just picked up a 2006 touring Z and my horn and radio functions on the steering wheel dont work. However the cruise control functions on the wheel do work. Any ideas? The horn works when locking the car so it cant be the fuse, correct? Im guessing the cable may be torn? Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

Factory touring touch screen radio, air bag light is not on. Only the tire pressure light is on. (Aftermarket wheels)

Ruled out steering wheel clock spring and fuse, yes.
Have you looked for signs of after market alarm or non-stock wiring under dash?

Funfettie, the 2006 Touring did not have a touch screen radio/sound system, it was a Bose with all hard link buttons etc. It may be that you have an aftermarket head unit installed and the steering wheel controls were not hooked up or they are not compatible. The horn not working could be anything. Most amateur and many so-called professional mechanics seem unable to open up a dash or remove a steering wheel without wrecking something (example the clock spring connector in the steering wheel).

Thanks for the reply Jennifer. I need to figure out what exactly my car is yet. Dealer said it was a touring, but it has track wheels and brakes. ill post another thread up later tonight with photos to try to identify the cars sub model. Thanks again!
