Default AC controls on and off

Hi all.*

I recently started doing some big mods to my 2006 350z. This included installing a new pioneer radio head unit and doing a tablet cubby conversion with some nice new cf finishings.*

After reinstall the middle console I turned the car on and everything seemed to be working but after about 5 seconds the AC controls just die.*

Now no matter what I do they turn on for 5 sec and die. I turn the car off and back on they stay dead but if I wait a few seconds after turning it off then I get the 5 seconds again on start.

I tried clearing the ecu of errors but that didn't solve the issue. So my question is have any of you had this before and was it the AC controller white box or a cabling issue like the ribbon cable?

Any help will be aprehiated and once I get it sort I will post all the pics I took during the process and the finished product of my mods.

Re-Check the connection between the Unified-Meter & the AC control unit.

I've never heard of them dying.

If you leave the ribbon cable unplugged it will go full blast defrost as a failsafe.

Might try that to see if the blower motor is still good.

My wife accidentally crossed the battery terminals while jumping her g35. It caused a fuse to blow and the weird thing is it caused her heater to stay on. I replaced the fuse that blew fixed it....figured it would be worth mentioning.
