Default Massive Oil Leak

Hey guys so i've been having a problem with my oil leaking for about a year or so. I first thought it was my valve cover so I got a new one and its not that. Then I realized that I never really used a crush washer for my oil filter. Do you think you can get a oil leak from not using the crush washer?

Do you mean the crush washer on the oil drain plug. There is no crush washer on the filter. The filter has a rubber ring for sealing. If that is missing, you can certainly have a big leak. If the crush washer is missing from the oil drain plug, you can also have a leak. The simple solution is to get a crush washer and install it or get the filter problem fixed. You should also clean the bottom of your motor so you can see where the oil is actually leaking.
