Hi guys, new to the forum and the 350z. Having trouble with opening and closing top. It took 5 to 6 minutes to open the top this morning but took 25 to 30 minutes to close it. If I keep my finger on the button and figit with the passenger seat controls, it seems to eventually connect and will activate. But it takes forever! Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any help! Welcome Mike- it sounds like either the control switch or seat motors are not operating properly to engage the top. It should open or close within 30 seconds in normal operation. Unfortunately, it's not a simple fix and you really need the services of a factory trained tech to determine what's wrong and replace the appropriate parts. Repair it soon, as you don't want to have the roof get stuck halfway and become a real BIG problem. Did you buy it this way or did this become an issue over time?
