Changing Speedometer

Default Changing Speedometer
If I change my speedometer cluster does the millage on the screen stay the same as my car has, or does the speedometer itself carry the millage?

The gauge cluster holds the mileage. Not sure what the laws in PR about this but in the US it can put you in a bit of a pickle if not done the right way.
