I have a 05 z. You turn the key and it wont start. Turn the key and it doesmt even crank. You can just hear a clicking sound like the starter is engaging but not turning the fly wheel. I tried jumping it to no avail. Also tried a new battery and that didn't help either. Should i just buy a new starer or what. Also does anyone has a si|mnm

If you have a good, new batt the next step is a new starter/solenoid.

Also look under the vinyl under your batt cables. If green, change out.

Hit the starter with a hammer see if it starts, if it does replace

If you've checked the battery cables and replaced the battery, I would try checking to see if the vehicle starts in neutral. If it does, there may be a bad neutral safety switch at play. If it doesn't, I would pull the starter for a rebuild/replace.
