FYI for those who don't know - PR is part of the US.

 

US stands for united states. since PR is not a state, it is not part of the US. it is however US territory

 

I didn't say PR is a state, but it is indeed part of this country, which is called the "US". They can fly the American flag and have representation in the US Congress. They even pay US taxes. When someone says "here in the states", they aeem to be inferring that PR is a foreign country, and some in PR might take offense at that. That was my point.
