Default engine stutter at 3750 rpms (new cold air intake)

I recently purchased and installed an injen cold air intake for my 2003 350z. Installation went fine and had no issues. I started it up and again no issues. Took it for a test drive and once I hit 3750rpms it beggins to stutter. Any ideas on what may cause this?

if it started after you installed it, then something with that is the issue... take it off and do it again

Doubble checked all my clamps and ensured my maf was in correct and everything was good. It couldnt be an issue with plugs or not enough fuel could it?

I agree with travlee. His suggestion is the most likely cause. Check that first, and then go from there.

If all else fails, you might want to try disconnecting the battery before you go to bed, re-connect it in the morning and let the car re-learn its a/f maps using the new part. Since your car is no longer OEM spec, your computer is trying to figure out what's going on and is compensating.
