Default At what Temp should the fans kick in?

I was wondering at what temp my fans would kick in, so I let it set and Idle, without the AC or heater on,for a while and they came on at low speed at 98c (208.4 F according to google) and cooled it back to 88c (190.4F) I checked it 2x and got the same temps both times.

The Temps are according to My HUD which reads off the OBD2 port.

Ambient air temp was 51F (10.56c)

At Idle, are these normal temps for the fan to come on? or for that matter normal operating temps for the car?

Still don't know what temp the fans high speed kicks in.

what are your normal temps?

2006 Base 350z 45,000

Thanks Chuck E

Yes those temps are normal. Using a digital temp gauge it shows the lows kicking on at 207 F and the highs at 212 F. 195 F is the cutoff temp for both hi and low fans. Small variance in temps from low speed to high speed but it seems that just how Nissan programmed them.

Thanks for the info.

I wonder if there is a way to change the point where the fans kick in and go off
it would be cool if the set points could be changed in Software.
