Default HR 350z engine to 370z 6-speed swap question

Hello. I'm new to the forum.
I'm swapping a VQ35HR and 6-speed into my 72 Datsun 240z. I'll be going with astandalone Haltech Elite 2500, custom harness, a single throttle body manifoldand forced induction.

I have already purchased the VQ35HR engine and I have an opportunity to buy a 370z 6-speed for a good price locally. As Iunderstand it, the bellhousing hole pattern for the 350 (HR) and 370 are thesame, but I would lose the SynchroRev match system that comes with the 370.

Are there any other issues I will face or will if bolt up fine?
Can you run the SynchroRev match system disabled?
Would it be better to just find a VQ35HR 6-speed?

Thanks for the help

Here's what I've come up with thus far. The VQ engine block changed when
Nissan went to the VQ35HR and....... the 370 uses the same block. That said, I feel certain the 370 trans will work.

I know I will lose the SynchroRev Match option but that shouldn't be an issue. I will research SynchroRev Match and discuss it with Haltech. Maybe its something we could get working.

Doubtful- most of the SyncoRev match software is contained in the factory ECM. As for the 370Z tranny, it'll likely be a straight switch, but Nissan is also known for doing small production line changes on the fly. No way to know for sure until you plug in in and see for yourself. Be sure to upgrade the CSC and brake master before installing the tranny.

Yeah, nor would it be worth the effort.

Doesn't it come with an internal slave cylinder? Why upgrade?

Thanks

Ok, I see it now. Lots of people make upgraded CSC kits. Thanks

Because the factory CSC is a known issue. Even the Nissan "upgraded" unit fails.

Many might make "upgraded" units (but I've never heard of any besides below and the Z1 CSC elimination kit). This is the cure:

I happened to run across this thread and would like to give my 2 cents. I have a 2007 G35s Sedan which has a VQ35HR motor and replaced my 6MT with a syncro rev 370z transmission (320B0-1EA0B). There were no issues doing the swap and, although I was never expecting it to, snycro rev does not work as it needs 3 main parts to work: the transmission with gear position sensor, gauge cluster, and ecu.
