Default Another check engine please help

Service engine light comes one and stays on until I shut the car off. If I leave the car off for over 2 hrs the service light clears and stays off. However if I turn the engine of and back on within an hour it turns on. All the car has is borla catback and CAI. Please help?

It could be a worn out tailpipe bushing.

I was at the local AutoZone and I'm not sure if it was a scanner/employee issue, but I will try a different one to see what they say and let you guys know.

Did you open the hood and check the engine? It should have a pending code or a stored code when you hook up the obd tool... Unless your battery got disconnected for a few hours and reset the ecu.

Make sure all hoses are correctly connected, and all electrical connections are tight.. If the light is going on and off something is probably not tightly in its spot.

Shame the FBI shut down the psychic mechanic network, this is right up their alley!

Just take the engine out. No engine no engine check light. Problem solve.
