window motor question
My drivers side window is acting up. It opens up then when I go to close it it goes up then partially back down unless I hold it until its completely closed. Then it stops working altogether for a while. I ordered a new motor but I am wondering if its something in the switch? I have the motor sitting in the garage and am thinking while I have the door card off maybe I should do the switches and possibly the speakers as well.
Would these work for the door speakers?

The front needs a thin speaker best to check crutchfield to see what will fit. As for the window motor it sounds like it thinks it's being pinched then comes back down then stops working... Their is a little button to reset the motor but if it stops working its probably time for a new one... Think I got mine for like $40 on jcwhittney (if you can believe they are still in business) and its workes fine so far.. (about 6 months)

Yes, those JL's will work for door speakers, but you're going to need to get speaker spacers [click this link]. Ask them which sized spacer will best suit your application. Also, you might want to paint them before you install them since they're MDF and they're going into a wet area.
