Okay so I just started wrenching on my car for the first time so I apologize if this question is stupid..

Well my oil sending unit went out. So I decided to fix it myself...buy a new sensor..get under the car..lo and behold the thing is stuck. The upper pan horror stories on here scare me into a oil sandwich.

Well now I get the greddy block adapter...and wouldn't you know it...the port plugs are stuck (or so it seems). Is there a tool I am missing?..looks like an Allen wrench to me..tried it. wouldn't budge. Am I not twisting hard enough or the wrong way ?...

Any help for the mechanically handicapped is most appreciated..everything is stuck
