Default Got into accident need some help deciding on what to do

Have a 2003 touring with a bent frame it's the the 2 parallel bars sticking out in the front that holds the radiator (driver side) very sad day.
I was asking some shops and the price to fix a bent seems not really worth it because 350z 2003 goes for like 5-7k also they said the car will never be solid
I did look into all the options to save it but seems its a lost cause.

So my question is, can a de engine and transmission fit into a hr if possible what's needed. I am asking this question is because I am thinking of keeping the car for parts later and wanted to know I can pick any year or I am limited to 2003-2005 models another question is the 2006 model is the revup should that be off the list too

It's really hard let the car go because I had so many good memories with it.
Another reasons is because I was in middle of projects (ex. 2008 brake caliber upgrade, speakers etc.) which I haven't even finished lol. Then there is also the parts I bought for maintenance which came to a total of like 1.5k in parts that just sitting in the garage or I would be looking into 370z2009

The craziest thing was That I had an appointment that week to install it and then I showed in the shop that week with my car and the mechanic was like wtf

so any inputs will be most welcomed

ATM I leased a nissan rogue 2016 and man it sucks to drive a SUV
So I have about 3 years to decide what to do

What does your budget allow, or what are your goals

My budget is 5-7k de 7- 9k hr if I keep the 350z for parts. (1st question)Would you know if I can use transmission and engine from de into hr body then I can look into all the 03-08 350z

This is because my engine and transmission was fine another reasons I am asking about hr is because I saw one with 169miles for 6.5k I know the motor is good for 200k it least but would like to make use (2nd question) my engine if the transfer would be a bolt on
this is a question I haven't seem to come up much, it seem it's always the opposite where ppl want to put a hr into a de car

I know anything can be fabricated but of course that cost more $$$

If I sell everything which most unlikely and don't want too, look into 370z 09 seem some for 12-15k because

Goal is get myself into another z some how not sell all my stuff (unfinished projects and maintenance parts) and make use of them for the future.

Sell the whole car to me for a ridiculously low price... Or make it a project and buy a high miles basketcase and swap everything over...

DE and HR will not interchange.

You should pull the rear bumper, driver door and driver front fender (if it's not bent) and ship them to me.

On top of what everyone else said, in NY State (like so many others,) OBDII engines must have the same year or newer engines in them in order to pass emissions. You can't put a DE engine in a HR car unless the DE engine was offered during the HR vehicle's model year, which it wasn't. You won't be able to license the vehicle for on-road use under this scenario.

bent frame means the car will never ever drive correctly. you know what that means? the alignment will be completely off and will never be in alignment therefore you will shred tires all day long and what that means is that, you will be burning cash in thin air and you will have tons and tons of headaches......the car wont be fun driving fast anymore because it will be sloppy and all over the place.

just part the car off, and get another Z that is in sound mechanical condition, to save you from the headaches and make some new memories.
