Default Anyone with 350Z ALIGHNMENT EXPERIENCE PLEASE HELP!! Still pulling 2 right......

My 350Z has pulled to the right and not tracked right since the first day I drove her home..Well, after twice going to 2 diff dealers to fixx(first time they lowered my left tire to 30 lbs and said it was fixxed!) and now they did the" pull to the right tsb" was done and my cars first alighment. I have been telling Nissan that my car was out of alignment from the factory since day one!....CAn someone please look at my Alighment specs to tell me exactly whats out? I can see they got the 0 Toe correct regarding the FEathering TSB but looks like CASTER and other things are out right from the factory or the dealor made them worse! DOES ANY NISSAN DEALOR KNOW HOW TO USE AN ALIGHNMENT MACHINE>>??? A%$Woles-
Any help would be much appreciated as i have to know what i'm saying to NNA--even another nissan dealership told me to take it to a shop and have Nissan pay for it~! this is my third time with this car for teh same issue, It's lemon Law time after this in Nj!!

I've been dealing with this problem since the first day I drove her also. My first allignment to try and resolve this issue was at around 500 miles. In the last 10 months I've taken my car to the dealership at least 5 times dealing with the same problem. They swapped the tires, replaced the compression rod, another allignment with no such luck. The most recent for me was tire replacement at 9,000 miles. My tech thought that the tires might be the culprit for the pulling. So he ordered me tires several months ago and I had them replaced last week. I drove at various speeds from 30-80 MPH and the car is still pulling to the right. I called NNA and opened a file with them asking what is my next point of action. I've also made my tech aware of it and he pretty much threw in the towel. Unfortunately the SOB didn't print out the allignment specs last week so I don't know the specs. At this point I don't know what I'm going to do.

That's the thing that really pissed me off because I asked him point blank to print them out. Also be on the look out for tire feathering. At 7,500 miles I stared noticing the growling when you're at slower speeds. I brought it in for them to acknowledge and when they changed my tires they noticed that both sides of the tires were feathered. This was the reason I called NNA and make them document it. I also told them that I'm starting to have the feathering on the back tires, nothing severe but I want it noted. I've read some posts that Nissan is not taking responsibility for the back tires so I want them to document it early on.

I am sooo worrieed about this entire thing,, I even had them adjust my toe to 0! which is what the lastest feathering TSB says to do , but if yo ulook at my alighnment spec , it seams other things are way out right from the factory! Where teh hell is the QC in nissan's factory!. and i don't want to hear it's a "mass produced car" bullsh%t from teh dealer all teh time, Crysler has better qaulity controls now on there cars!...anothe rprblem is that I only drive my car about 1500-2000 miles a year so what am I going ot do about feathuring? I just wish my car could drive straight ans track stright, it seems the compression rod tsb is nonesense or the alighment afrewards is just being screwed up by the dealers techs! what's your 2 cents?

Thanks!

I keep hearing that there's suppose to be an actual FIX on the whole tire feathering. But I'm not holding my breath. The compresion rod is is worthless, it's just another way of them saying that they are TRYING to fix the problem. All this is really doing is DELAYING their customers and give them a false sense of HOPE that it might be the FIX that we are looking for. My tech keep telling me that OH IT'S A Z AND IT'S SPORTS CAR SO IT WILL DRIFT FROM TIME TO TIME BECAUSE OF THE CROWNING OF THE ROAD, IT'S FEATHERING BECAUSE OF THE CORNERING FROM DRIVING THE Z HARD BLAH, BLAH FREAKIN BLAHHH.
I was even thinking of buying a lifetime allignment for 120 bucks but that won't really do anything even if I allign the car every oil change.

I heard the control arms can be bent from when the car is shipped. I think it was said that they strap the cars down to tight which bends the control arms. This could be the cause of the pull to the right. I have the same problem and I have done everything you have but I am just going to get rid of my car! Let me know if you can find anything out about this problem.

I have pulling to the right from day 1, after replacing my compression rod on the right side (TSB), it helped a little, but still pulls to the right.. I don't think Nissan has any solution to this problem. I just forget about it and try to ignore it now.

I have done numerous alignements, but none of them help.

Might want to find an alignment shop with a Hunter machine. Supposedly the best. I never had this issue before.
Not sure you could lemon law for pulling right lest it was severe.

Oh yeah, look here for SAI info:
http://www.familycar.com/alignment.htm

"if the SAI is different from side to side, it will cause a pull at very slow speeds."
Maybe your SAI Left reading is causing this...

guys.... the real issue is caster on the right side.

there is too much caster on the right so the right wheel tends to want to "center" harder than the left.

I've had 3 alignment shops tell me that if they could adjust caster they could cure the problem

phucking nissan puts out the Z with no ability to adjust camber or caster in the front. what kind of BS is that?!

I phucking hate this car more and more everyday.

BTW I've had my car in for service over 15 times in the last 18 months.

Audi S4 here I come!
