Fuse keeps blowing...
So I was crusing, friend says my tail lights don't light up at night only when I order the brakes, headlights work, marked everything. I check under the hood, blown fuse. Buy it replace it blows again, repeat and happens again. I was wondering what I could do to fix this, I have an amplifier powering two subs, and a aftermarket headunit if that helps. I really don't know what the **** is wrong so yalls help is appreciated!
If it's just the tail light fuse thats blowing it's an obvious short to ground. What I've done in the past is unplug all the lights and see if the fuse still blows. If it still blows the fuse there's a wiring issue that you will have to track down. If it doesn't blow the fuse with the lights unplugged try leaving the lights plugged in but pull the bulbs out and install bulbs one by one until it blows the fuse. Whichever one blows the fuse is your problem area.
