Air bag light
i had read the sticky "
RECALL* - 2007/08 Passenger Airbag Sensor"
and wondering if my 07'touring roadster has the same issue. i just bought this car a few weeks ago and only have put on 4oo miles and noticed that my air bag light (assuming that is what it is) is flashing all the time while either parked or driving and w/ or w/ out a passenger with me.the car only has 10,400 miles on it. i put my vin# in a search for recalls and it says it has none and i have every slip of paper that has been done to the car since new. any suggestion or advise would be helpful before i decide to take it to a dealer later on. thanks.

Download a copy of the Service Manual for your car (start here:
http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/use...-database.html)
Open the SRS.pdf section and perform the diagnostics beginning on page SRS-26 (HOW TO CHANGE SELF DIAGNOSTIC MODE WITHOUT CONSULT-III). The air bag warning light flash sequence will then tell you where the problem lies.
Alternatively, you can use a good quality OBD scan tool that reads SRS codes and check against the codes listed beginning on page SRS-29.

UPDATE: i found that the coupe/roadster section wouldn't work but the coupe section opened up fine. we found a loose plug in connection under passenger seat and went by the srs section and reset it and light is now out. didn't take it for a ride just backed out of garage and it seems fine. i can't thank you enough.
