Another 2006 oil consumer
Thats not that bad. Run the cheapest oil you can find and keep her topped off.
Mine burns about that much, albeit with a bad valve cover leak. Has done so for 12 years. I did UOAs for at least 3 years straight, maybe more. All fine, she still purrs like a kitten.
Keep in mind I havent done any PCV or other crankcase mods. I still run 30 weight oil at about 100k on the clock.
If all it does is burn oil, I say just enjoy the car.

Sorry, I feel your pain.
I bought mine with a "new" motor with low miles that also started using oil at 18k miles.
If I had it to do over (built a zillion $ stroker that blew a cylinder and dumped the car after installing a junk yard motor) I'd just put oil in & enjoy the car.

I'm just surprised at how quickly some of the Rev Ups tend to burn that much oil so early in their life.. I've read some articles about it; From randomly occurring design spec errors to the catalytic converters to improper 'break in' procedures... Apparently there's no singular reason.
I have an 04 with similar consumption. I changed to castrol gtx 10w40 conventional and the consumption was less compared to mobil 1 5w30.
