Default Ctek battey charger install?

Anyone install and use one of these? They have great reviews and so far I'm looking at mounting it in the passenger side wiper fairing.

Thoughts?

Does it stay on charge or does it switch to maintain?

To step in here, all CTEK chargers are "smart chargers" and automatically switch between charging and maintenance modes (along with "rejuvenation" for really low batteries).

Sorry, I can't answer anything on quality of the unit itself but JUST did research on chargers and CTEK has a really good rep. Almost bought the Deltran Battery Tender Plus, which is top rated as well but for some reason, it just didn't seem "right". I think it's the old school form factor (a square metal box) that turned me away and over to the NOCO Genius G3500, also top of class.

Bought one (still awaiting arrival) along with one additional ringlet cable. Plan to "install" the cables in my roadster and on my Benz' aux battery, both of which have parasitic power draws while sitting. (I know what the issue is on the roadster but haven't addressed it yet and it's a "known thing" on these Benzes to drain the aux....psh, and people thought these mondo-$$ Benzes were bulletproof? HA!)

used the template and my dremel and got it cut out.

used epoxy as well to help seal it all up from the back side.
