So i havent started the car in about a week or so maybe a little bit more a week and a half i cant remember. So i tried to start it today, put my foot on the clutch put the key in tried to turn it on and as soon the engine wanted to turn over it stopped then all of a sudden a clicking noise right after? Im wondering what it could be? Could it be that it hasnt been turned on for that long? I live in Ny and it snowed the other day but its gone and it was raining the day i tried aswell. Or could it just be a dead battery? Without the engine turning over the battery sensor reads 12 volts. Also the car barely has any gas right now lol its alittle higher than being empty.

 

Sound like a dead battery. The info on the battery gauge is meaningless. You're going to have to do a load test on the battery to determine its health. How long has it been since you replaced it?
