My old engine broke down so I replaced it with a new. And now I have no spark "/ No codes, checked with autocom. I can hear the fuel pump prime and it smells fuel when i crank. Changed both cps sensors to the old ones. Re checked the flywheel. Full battery power and generator is charging. It's not NATS. The check light goes of when I crank. I've tried lock and unlock with the key fob.
The only thing I havent tried is to replace the crank sensor. I only have one of those. Checked the timing with the help of the picture. It looks okay except the flywheel is like 5mm off (metric) wth? Please help
Does it crank at all? If all your systems check out okay, you might not have power supplying to your coils. Check with a multimeter or ground tester on coil connectors to see if they light up when your turn the key in the ignition to the ON position. More information would be helpful to assist in pinpointing your issue here

Yes it cranks. I've checked all the connectors and they have 12v when I turn the ignition to on. And also ground on all connectors in pin 2. Pin 3 is dead on all connectors, until i turn on the ignition to on. Then they all have ground. And when I crank they all go dead again on pin 3!
So ive tried replacing crank sensor and both cam sensors to new ones. Still no start -.-
I'm gonna check the signal with ocsilliskop and go from there.
I strongly suggest you refrain from buying and installing new parts unless you're absolutely positive the part in question has failed. Are all your ground cables secured? There should be one behind the engine, that was the reason my car wouldn't start, if you look in my other thread. Also, check the symptoms matrix on "no start/hard start" in the service manual, it'll give you a list of possible causes in order of priority, that way you can further pinpoint the cause of this. If you have no codes, then it's not an issue with a sensor or any other part that is connected to the ECU.

Hmm. I will check this!
Another thing that gets me confused, is that some say that if the flywheel isnt right mounted the car wont start. And others say it will start but it would run like crap. Wth x)

I'm not sure about this, I've never installed a flywheel on incorrectly (although I should mention my engine rebuild was the first time I reinstalled any flywheel, but I lined up the flywheel correctly). If you suspect your flywheel is misaligned, you may have to drop the tranny, assuming you put it on already, take off the flywheel, and put it back on with the dowel positioned correctly, unless you can somehow verify the flywheel timing through the ckps hole.

I have already dropped the tranny twice. I´m 99% sure the flywheel is on right. And I have checked the timing through the hole as shown in the picture i have posted. But it´s like 5mm off. The flywheel is not damaged. The eninge is not damaged.
edit.. I read your other thread and the difference is that my car is stone dead. No spark what so ever on any coil.

The grounds I see are front center, front passenger side, and driver side manifold to frame... what ground is behind the engine?? are you talking about between engine and fire wall?? I didn't see one. my engine is doing the same thing (
