Lose power after driving for awhile
Hey guys. New to the forum. I've been having issues with my 03. When I first start the car I have full power but after driving around for 20 min or so the car becomes very very sluggish. I can bring the rpms all the way to redline but a miata would gap me with how slow it accelerates.
I had a ton of codes and replaced everything that came up with OEM parts:
-cam position sensor bank 1 - both bank 1 o2 sensors and knock sensor.
Still have code for abs since I have installed a hydro hand brake and code P1564 which is something to do with cruise control but I'm not too worried about that.
I have also replaced MAF, crank position sensor, did ecu reset and throttle relearn.
I'm thinking maybe bad thermostat, cats or the knock sensor harness?
Came with what I believe is a crawford Z plenum, k&n sri and some knock off cat back. Also previous owner said he replaced clutch and flywheel and I was reading that mis aligning the flywheel can result in power loss but I would think that would be a constant thing not after the cars been driven for awhile.
Thanks in advance for any help!
