After having the Nismos on my Z for approx. 8 months with no high pressure car washes hitting them, one of the "Nismo" decals began coming off (the "S" & "M") on my driver's side rear. After checking with Jason @ Perfermance Nissan on getting some new decals (out of them) I decided to remove all of the original decals & replace with the "Nismo" stickers the Pref. Nissan sells. Came out pretty good.......about wore out a thumbnail getting them off, but after that and a little "Goo-Be-Gone" the new stickers went on perfectly. Appears that the new ones will last a long time.

I've had mine for about 13 months now, and all's fine with the decals. Let's keep a good thought, shall we?

Are the letters a straight decal or are they cut individually?

I just talked to him about it and I think he is going to cancel and order the 18" chrome instead. I can't blame hime. no sense in paying about 2400 knowing that you might have to make a modification later on. Although I told him to try them out because they look awesome. He said he may ask the dealer if they would cover it under warranty for a year. I'll find out.

I have a Nissan Z with18" Nismo, letter also fell off.

Also I have curb my wheel at one time, was wondering if anyone know how I can fix it to get the paint on outer lip to match. wheel is bronze.

Car has
HKS Racing Suction
Kinetix Plenum
JWT Cams
Borla headers,
Random Technology Sport Cats
Injen Exhaust
JWT Flywheel / Clutch Kit
B M short shifter
Nismo Wheels
Nismo Body Kit
Bilstein Shock and Tein H springs

Yet to do, Nismo Heads and and nice ECU. Waiting for Jim Wolf ECU, but Does anyone know where I can find a nice ECU?

1 year and 20K miles. I have been waiting on them to fall off, as I knew it would happen based on what i heard. I have power sprayed the wheels maybe 3 times and all the rest are hand washed. They dont even look to be coming off.

I would not let a silly sticker logo problem prevent me from getting these wheels. The are some of the best looking wheels for the car.

yes they do, very very easily even with out pressure washing, i am down to NIS on one of my rear wheels and NISM on the other. I have never pressure washed mine either. I have only lost letters on my rear wheels. I have been thinking about removing the stickers from all of the wheels if Nissan/Nismo doesn't send replacement stickers to dealers soon. Like many others, I have been waiting for a long time to get an answer on when these stickers will be available. Come on Nissan send dealers the damn stickers or start painting the logo on....

I agree with VandyZ - as he mentioned, some decals are staying on for a long time. One of mine just didn't last & I changed them - no biggie! The wheels are indeed one of the best looking wheels for our car.

You said that you "changed them - no biggie" with what part number, as far as I know Nissan has not made available any replacement stickers to buy for the NISMO wheels? But I do agree, with or with out stickers the NISMO wheels are awesome!!!!

dkent2 - I posted here earlier (see above) that I replaced the decals with Nismo stickers that Jason @ Performance Nissan sells - a pic is attached to my post. Jason has been waiting on new decals, but I decided to go another route (no negative on Jason - he's a good guy & is trying hard to get the decals in!!). I went with the black Nismo stickers that are on their website (available in silver or white as well). Just scrape the old decals off & install new stickers. I'll get you the part number if you need it.............

dkent2 - BTW, the stickers I was talking about on www.performancenissanparts.com are in the "Exterior & Lighting" section under "Raised Logo Stickers." The part # is 99992-RN0XX - Black. Hope this helps if you decide to go this route.

Those stickers are HUGE and will come off because they sit so high from the wind resistance...

Im just going to have some stickers made...

DO you guys prefer the New O or the Rising Sun?
