Intake question
Well the little nipple that is on the stock intake sorta snapped off on mine. The one from bottom of intake to behind driver side engine. What exactly does this even do? I searched the best I could.
Any info would be great. Thank you!

Those two nipples you are describing are suppose to be connected with a hose, it is part of the PVC system mentioned above.
My suggestion is to replace the hose and connect both ends together, or plug them up with rubber caps that you can get at Autozone. If you don't your MAF is going to run stupid with the air escaping and coming into your intake pipe. It's not gonna do its job well to know how much air is actually coming in the motor.

its not really fixable tbh, not unless I somehow install a new nipple. Although I can find a way to seal it, as you suggest. I have a better idea though, could I just plug the intake hole and then have a catch can coming from the nipple on back of engine and just leave it at that or do I need to have it running driver back of engine - catch can - intake ?

I was thinking of something similar. I appreciate the response. I’ll post what I do in case this happens to anyone else for some crazy reason.

Wait wait wait wait wait.
I can delete the hose going from the intake to the back of the valve cover? I just have to plug the intake and put a filter on the valve cover?
I hate that hose with a passion.

YYYup. You can get away with just a breather filter on the drivers side, but the passenger side(PCV side) should get a catch can because that side emits more oil vapor. Otherwise your engine bay will be covered in a light film of oil.
